Christian ‘”King” Combs was filmed partying two days after he attended his father Sean “Diddy” Combs’ court appearance.
In a video shared by Live Bitez via Instagram on Sunday, October 13, Christian, 26, is seen dancing in a club with his girlfriend, Raven Tracy, and pouring a shot of what appears to be liquor into her mouth.
The night out followed a Manhattan court hearing held on Thursday, October 10, which was attended by Diddy, 54, and six of his seven children including Christian. The hearing determined a start date — May 5, 2025 — for Diddy’s trial following the music mogul’s September 16 arrest on charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. (Diddy has pleaded not guilty to all charges.)
The lengthy Instagram video was captioned, “King Combs Declares He’s Got the Baddest Girl in the World While Turning Up with Friends at the Club! #kingcombs #raventracy Yall giving her Tens?” and showed Christian singing along to songs including Mya’s 2000 track, “Best of Me, Part 2,” featuring Jay-Z.
Christian, also a rapper, was also filmed telling the camera that he had “the baddest girl in the world,” as friends of the couple danced around them.
Thursday’s court hearing attracted Diddy’s children, Quincy Brown, 33, Justin Combs, 30, Chance Combs, twins Jessie and D’Lila Combs, both 17, and Christian, as well as Diddy’s mother, Janice Combs. Diddy is currently incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York.
According to USA Today, Diddy wore “tan prison garb” and “blew kisses” to his family after the hearing ended. Diddy was then “led out a side door by members of the U.S. Marshals Service,” per the outlet.
The hearing followed Diddy’s attorneys requesting that his trial commence in April or May next year. The trial’s finalized date coincides with the 2025 Met Gala, also held in Manhattan.
Prosecutors noted that they believe their case will take three weeks to argue, while Diddy’s team said they required about a week to make their case.
USA Today added that Diddy’s legal team met with Judge Arun Subremanian, who stated that Combs will remain “detained pending his latest appeal for bail.”
Christian vocalized his support for Diddy through his track titled, “Pick A Side,” released in May. The lyrics of song seemingly addressed the March raid of Diddy’s homes in Miami and Los Angeles, reading, “Police raid the crib like they think we selling crack, but we out here selling tracks / Multimillion dollar plaques.”
A further line in the song reads, “Pops been hated on by many men.”
Diddy was taken into custody and placed behind bars after a grand jury indicted him one day after his arrest. His attorney Marc Agnifilo told Us Weekly at the time, “We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children and working to uplift the Black community.”
