What Is ‘Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle’ About?
Based on the popular manga series, Demon Slayer follows Tanjiro Kamado (Natsuki Hanae in Japanese, Zach Aguilar in English), a kind-hearted and diligent boy whose family is killed by demons — leaving his sister Nezuko (Akari Kitō in Japanese, Abby Trott in English) transformed into a demon who still possesses some of her human memories. Determined to restore her humanity, Tanjiro joins the Demon Slayer Corps and hopes to defeat the demon king Muzan Kibutsuji (Toshihiko Seki in Japanese, Greg Chun in English).
The Infinity Castle arc is the final chapter of the story, and sees the characters storming Muzan’s stronghold and facing off against a variety of foes. By the end of the first film, the demon Akaza (Akira Ishida in Japanese, Lucien Dodge in English) has atoned for his evil deeds and sacrificed himself, but Tanjiro is trapped in the castle.

While no hard release dates have been confirmed, anime fans are expecting a two-year window between the final films in the series, placing Infinity Castle: Part 2 at a 2027 release date and Infinity Castle: Part 3 in 2029, according to GameRant.
