Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the fell 0.02% to hit a new 52-week low.
The best performers of the session on the were Kojamo (HE:), which rose 2.83% or 0.26 points to trade at 9.27 at the close. Meanwhile, Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:) added 2.56% or 0.10 points to end at 4.09 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:) was up 2.28% or 0.21 points to 9.33 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordea Bank Abp (HE:), which fell 2.20% or 0.23 points to trade at 10.23 at the close. Outokumpu Oyj (HE:) declined 2.04% or 0.06 points to end at 2.79 and Neste Oyj (HE:) was down 2.01% or 0.23 points to 11.23.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 89 to 81 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Outokumpu Oyj (HE:) fell to 3-years lows; down 2.04% or 0.06 to 2.79. Shares in Neste Oyj (HE:) fell to 5-year lows; falling 2.01% or 0.23 to 11.23.
Brent oil for February delivery was down 0.12% or 0.09 to $72.79 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January fell 1.76% or 1.24 to hit $69.34 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.38% or 35.96 to trade at $2,644.06 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.65% to 1.04, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.00% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.63% at 107.47.
