Millie Bonnie Bongiovi (formerly Millie Bobby Brown) celebrated new motherhood and the record-breaking return of Stranger Things with a slew of pictures.
“The life of a showgirl,” she captioned a post via Instagram on Wednesday, December 3, which featured rare photos of her baby daughter with husband Jake Bongiovi.
In one of the pics, Millie, 21, and Jake, 23, had their arms around each other as he held their daughter. In another, Millie held the infant, with a bunny emoji covering her face, as she seemingly smiled next to her father-in-law, Jon Bon Jovi.
Another snap showed Millie holding her daughter by a pool.
“Mommy bobby brown 🤩,” Ulta Beauty commented while the actress’ brand, Florence by Mills, added, “Our shaylaaaa 🥹🫶.”
Other clips featured Millie on the set of Stranger Things season 5, which was released by Netflix on November 26. And in a black-and-white photo, she smiled with costar Noah Schnapp in the back of a car.
Schnapp, 21, is Millie’s daughter’s godfather, she revealed during the red carpet premiere of the new installment of Stranger Things.
“Sadie [Sink] is very, very maternal, but Noah’s her godfather,” Millie told Entertainment Tonight of her costars and friends. “They all turn into the most gooey, soft versions of themselves [and] their baby voice comes out when they’re around her.”
As for his thoughts on Millie becoming a mom, Schnapp shared, “Aw, it’s honestly the greatest joy. It’s actually crazy to me to see her grow from such a wide-eyed, innocent young silly girl and now she’s a mom and married. And I’m just so proud of her.”
Millie and Jake, who tied the knot in 2024 after two years of dating, have kept their daughter’s name and identity private thus far.
On their decision to keep her out of the public eye, the actress told British Vogue in a November interview, “For me, it’s really important to protect her and her story until she’s old enough to potentially one day share it herself.”
She continued, “It’s not my place to purposefully put her in the spotlight unwillingly. If she chooses to share her personality one day with the world, like I did when I was young, that’s something we’d support. But right now, as she’s so little. … As her parents, it’s our job to protect her from that.”
Millie decided to change her own name after becoming a mom and a wife. In November, she revealed her new moniker during a YouTube video interview for VT.
“Noah, what is Millie’s full name?” the interviewer asked Schnapp, who said Millie Bonnie Brown. However, she suggested he try again.
“Millie Bonnie Bobby Brown Bongiovi,” Schnapp guessed, to which his friend hinted to just to “drop the Brown.”
“Drop the Bobby [and] drop the Brown. It’s just Millie Bonnie Bongiovi,” she explained. “That’s it.”
Millie and Jake live on a farm with their newborn in Georgia.
“I grew up here, you know?” she told Vogue of Atlanta, which is where she filmed Stranger Things. “This is the longest place I’ve been consecutively in my life because of Stranger Things. For me, this is my home.”
