Victoria Beckham Shows Support for Son Romeo’s Modeling Gig, Is ‘Proud’ of Him Amid Brooklyn Drama

Victoria Beckham is turning her attention to son Romeo Beckham and his career accomplishments as their family drama continues to raise eyebrows.

“Proud of you @romeobeckham,” Victoria, 51, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Friday, January 23, sharing a video of Romeo, 23, walking the runway for Willy Chavarria’s Fall-Winter 2026 show at Paris Fashion Week.

Victoria also showed her second oldest son some love on Vogue Paris’ Instagram post documenting Romeo modeling in the show.

“Spotted: RomeoBeckham on the podium at the @WillyChavarria Fall-Winter 2026 show,” the magazine captioned the video via Instagram. Victoria replied in the comments section with four red heart emojis.

Romeo’s younger brother, Cruz Beckham, also commented on the clip, sharing a gif of Matthew McConaughey saying, “That’s my brother right there.” (Victoria gave Cruz, 20, his own social media shout-out on Friday, telling him she was “proud” of his recent tour announcement.)

Victoria’s support of her younger sons comes amid turmoil in their family stemming from drama with Victoria and husband David Beckham’s eldest child, son Brooklyn Beckham, and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham. (In addition to the three boys, the couple also share daughter Harper Beckham.)

Victoria and David, 50, have been estranged from Brooklyn, 26, since 2025 following controversy surrounding his 2022 wedding to Nicola, 30.

“I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private,” Brooklyn wrote in a statement shared via social media on Monday, January 19. “Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed.”

Brooklyn revealed, “I do not want to reconcile with my family.” He claimed, “I’m not being controlled, I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.”

In the post, Brooklyn alleged that his parents had “endlessly” attempted to “ruin” his relationship with Nicola since they tied the knot.

“My mum cancelled making Nicola’s dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress,” Brooklyn claimed. “[They also] repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name, which would have affected me, my wife and our future children.”

Brooklyn further alleged that when he pushed back on the Spice Girls alum and David’s alleged conditions it “affected the payday” and his parents “never treated me the same.”

Brooklyn claimed that at his and Nicola’s wedding, he was scheduled to do a “romantic dance” with his wife, but his mother “hijacked” the moment.

“She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. l’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life,” he alleged.

While neither David nor Victoria have publicly addressed Brooklyn’s accusations, a source exclusively told Us Weekly in June 2025 that they are “done speaking about it.”

Victoria and David “view it as the way it is now,” the insider said, noting the pair say “the ball is in Brooklyn’s court if he wants to make up.”

Despite the family’s attempt to move forward, Brooklyn’s allegations could have legal ramifications, certified family law specialist and senior attorney for Sullivan Law & Associates Rachael Bennett exclusively told Us on Friday.

“As attorneys, we look at situations like this, and the first thing that we look at is, could this be possible defamation? Were these statements defamatory in any way?” Bennett explained. “If there is any kind of legal action to be taken by Victoria or David Beckham against their son, which we would hope wouldn’t happen, but in this case, it’s really going to come down to whether or not Brooklyn can prove that the statements that he’s made are truthful.”

She concluded, “If this was a calculated move and all of these statements were very carefully worded, and he’s only made public what he can actually prove, then it will be interesting to see how that plays out as the story unfolds.”

Brooklyn, for his part, appears to be focused on his relationship with Nicola after renewing their vows last year.

“Brooklyn’s living his life,” a source told Us earlier this month. “He’s happy, rich and has everything going for him. He has freedom. He and Nicola are not sitting around waiting for a phone call.”
