Bachelor Nation exes Kaitlyn Bristowe and Jason Tartick were sitting mere feet from each other at the Dancing With the Stars taping.
During the broadcast on Tuesday, November 18, Tartick, 37, was visible behind the judges table, while Bristowe, 40, was seen sitting near the ballroom floor as she watched the semi-finals. (The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Whitney Leavitt and pro Mark Ballas were ultimately sent home at the end of the episode.)
The appearance came one week after Bristowe, who won season 29 of DWTS, returned to the stage to perform a routine with Andy Richter against Dylan Efron and Rumer Willis. (Bristowe and Richter lost the dance battle, and the comedian exited the competition with partner Emma Slater.)
Tartick and Bristowe may not have crossed paths on Tuesday as they haven’t been on the best terms of late. The pair confirmed they were dating in 2019, months after the former Bachelorette called it quits on her three-year engagement with Shawn Booth. Tartick went on to pop the question to Bristowe in 2021, but the pair announced their separation two years later.
“After sharing the news with family and close friends first, and taking the time to properly process it ourselves, we are saddened with heavy hearts to share that we have decided to end our engagement,” the duo wrote in a joint Instagram post at the time. “We are thankful for all of you who gave us the time and space to process this life altering decision as there are many emotions and changes to navigate.”
Years after their split, Tartick and Bristowe have continued to make headlines for their comments about their romance and the aftermath. In April, Bristowe claimed that the moniker of Tartick’s recently adopted dog, Teddy, was her “dream baby name” — something she claimed he knew.
“Navigating a world where sharing your story is risky, freeing and extremely hard. But I encourage everyone to think about ‘yes and.’ I do not wish ill on anyone. I’m choosing now to ‘let them,’ and I’m glad I gave some context,” Bristowe wrote via Facebook at the time. “I don’t like that I’m still talking about it but it felt good to stand up for myself. I of course have moved on, AND, it doesn’t mean I can’t speak my truth.”
She continued, “Do I have anxiety around my calculated response? Do I think he subtly shades me a lot? Yes. But I’m choosing light, and prayer. Moving forward. For everyone.”
Tartick, meanwhile, moved on with influencer Kat Stickler before pursuing a romance with Wags & Walks Nashville founder Kathryn Hurley. Us Weekly broke the news earlier this month that Tartick and Hurley are dating after initially crossing paths when he adopted his dog Teddy from the nonprofit rescue center earlier this year.
While the twosome have yet to address where they stand, Tartick and Hurley were spotted looking cozy at the opening of Craig’s in Nashville earlier this month in a photo shared via X by hospitality guru Dante Deiana. Us Weekly reached out to Tartick’s rep and Hurley for comment at the time.
Bristowe, for her part, has been rumored to be linked to Bachelor Nation’s Zac Clark but the pair have yet to address their relationship status.
“Privacy is so hot, like, I am turned on by being private. There’s something really special and sacred about it,” Bristowe exclusively told Us in August.
Eagle-eyed fans, however, have noticed Bristowe and Clark have been spotted together on several occasions. Earlier this month, Bristowe shared that she was in the Big Apple cheering on the New York City marathon runners — one of which was Clark.
